WASHINGTON — The United States Postal Service reported new delivery performance metrics for the third week of the second quarter for fiscal year 2023 showing delivery performance improvements in First-Class Mail and Periodicals. The average time for the Postal Service to deliver a mailpiece or package across the nation was 2.5 days.

HOMESTEAD, FL and GATLINBURG, TN — On Sunday, the Postal Service will issue two new stamps designed to be used as postage for Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express flat-rate envelopes: A Florida Everglades stamp denominated at $9.65 and a Great Smoky Mountains stamp denominated at $28.75. The stamps were issued in Homestead, FL, and Gatlinburg, TN, respectively.
