WASHINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service today announced its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Jan. 1, 2026 - Mar. 31, 2026). Controllable loss, which excludes certain expenses that are not controllable by management, was $642 million for the quarter, compared to controllable loss of $848 million for the same quarter last year.
PHOENIX — Today USPS presented its 2026 Partnership for Excellence Awards to several recipients on the final day of the National Postal Forum, the mailing and shipping industry’s largest annual conference.
INDIANA – The Postal Service will host Job Fairs in May at three different locations in the state. USPS is hiring carrier positions, paying up to $26.36 per hour, plus some benefits.

HAMMOND, IN — The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) today hosted a tour of its new Sorting and Delivery Center (S&DC) in Hammond, inviting local media to view the new facility’s improvements, state-of-the-art package sorting equipment, and Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDVs). Local Postal Service leaders highlighted how the improvements, part of nearly $21 billion invested in the national postal network over the past five years, improve service performance, enhance workplace conditions, and support faster, more reliable last-mile delivery in Hammond and beyond.
